UFC 249 will be a rare sporting event amidst the global pandemic. UFC president Dana White is confident that the main event will be a great fight.

White has already assured that he has taken into account all safety measures and that health and safety will be a top priority. UFC 249 was initially set to host Khabib Nurmagomedov against Tony Ferguson.

But with Khabib not able to travel for the fight because of lockdown restrictions, White announced Justin Gaethje as his replacement.
