’Champ-Champ’ Henry Cejudo has aimed shots at ’The Notorious’ Conor McGregor, calling the Irish Superstar ’McTapper’. The Bantamweight champ took to social media early this afternoon to give his opinion on Conor’s training methods.

Conor McGregor has been eyeing for a rematch against Khabib Nurmagomedov and was on course to do so till the Coronavirus stopped all sporting events. Conor made his highly anticipated return to the octagon in January and took just 40 seconds to dismantle Donald Cerrone. UFC President announced that McGregor is next in line to face Khabib. However, Justin Gaethje did not receive the news well.

Justin has threatened to “punch” Dana White if he is not next in line. Given the current circumstances, a fight between Conor McGregor and Justin Gaethje will be interesting. Both fighters are masters at the stand-up game and veterans in the sport. Gaethje’s wrestling would certainly pose a threat to ‘The Notorious’, while McGregor’s shotgun-like left hand can stop a fight at any point.

Now that McGregor is entering his season, a fight against Justin seems likely. The fighters are set to face each other on July 11th, with the winner of the fight next in line for a title shot.

Speaking about Conor McGregor vs Justin Gaethje, Henry Cejudo said

‘’Conor McGregor, you should be working your takedown defense ‘McTapper’. Justin Gaethje would destroy you in round one’’.

Conor getting destroyed is certainly far fetched, given his experience against grapplers and wrestlers. We must not forget Khabib lost the only round in his career to McGregor. Moreover, McGregor’s domination of Cerrone must be taken into consideration.
