However, protests took a turn into rioting and looting as huge crowds of people burned down local stores and ransacked shops.

In the midst of all this chaos, celebrities took to Social Media to spread messages of peace and calm. However, Jon Jones took a more hands-on approach to do his bit in spreading decency. In a video that went viral, Jones took to the streets and took away spray cans from vandals who planned to destroy property.

Carrying on with his views on the situation, DC used Jones as a model to explain the situation. He said that in times like these, people must avoid violence in order to get their message through.

“All the looting, all the rioting. All the taking advantage. It’s not going to make things better. These people are destroying our cities. Good for Jones… Try to protect the cities that we love! I feel like everybody needs to take that type of approach. Slow down, be peaceful! Start trying to come to places where we can figure out how we make things better. Looting and rioting and fighting doesn’t help. It’s sad, man.”
