“He is a Piece of Shit”- Israel Adesanya Weighs in on Potential Stipe Miocic and Jon Jones Fights
One of the most ambitious fighters ever to have fought in the UFC, Israel Adesanya has been very vocal about his desire to take on Ligh-Heavyweight Jon Jones.
In a recent interview with MMA Junkie, Adesanya revealed that he is looking forward to taking on the most infamous fighters in the UFC.
However, Adesanya admits that his coaches don’t want him to take on Bones. Instead, they want The Last Stlylebender to take on Stipe Miocic. Yet, the 30-year-old fighter insists to take on Bones even if he is not the champion, down the line.

Both Jones and Adesanya have been going back and forth taking shots at each other for months now. And the plan is to organize a mega-showdown in 2021, in Las Vegas.
“I see where destiny is placing certain characters in my movie. So yeah, that fight is really important. I don’t need it, to be honest. My coach doesn’t think I need it. My coach would rather I just avoid that fight, not because we don’t want to fight Jones, but he feels – he said it before he got arrested last time – he said I’d rather give it to a guy like Stipe (Miocic),” Adesanya told MMA Junkie

The Nigerian born fighter wants to make one thing absolutely clear, “We’re not scared of anybody,” however, he feels a fight with Jones is not necessary for his legacy, he wants that fight nonetheless.
“Like, he’s going after Stipe. So it’s not that we don’t want the fight, it’s just that my coach feels like he’s a piece of (expletive). And my coach is really old school. He doesn’t want to give this opportunity to fight me – the A-side – to a guy like Jones. A s**t c**t like Jones,” explains Israel Adesanya.
