With little over a month to go for the lightweight showdown between undefeated Khabib Nurmagomedov and Justin Gaethje at UFC 254, the excitement is palpable among UFC fans. Former bantamweight and flyweight champion Henry Cejudo, who is under the same management team as Justin and Khabib, is good friends with both men.

However, he was put in a tough spot when Helen asked him to give his prediction for the aforementioned fight. “I think whoever makes the other person fight their B side, is going to be the guy that is going to win,” said the former champ.

Cejudo, who is officially retired, has never shied away from media. He is always more than happy to give his thoughts on various fights and upcoming fighters. While still maintaining that he is the true king of both – the flyweight and the bantamweight division, Cejudo is gunning to make history by becoming the first three-division champion.

He wants to face Alexander “The Great” Volkanovski, the current featherweight champion of the UFC. However, there is no development on that front at the moment.

Henry Cejudo gives his thoughts on Khabib vs Justin

Cejudo pointed out the key to victory for both men. As far as Justin Gaethje is concerned, he said: “He is a risk-taker, he needs to chop down the legs, defend the shots and focus on that.’ “

Speaking of Khabib, Cejudo said, “He’s a gamer, he’s gotta base the fight on feel and see where this fight goes because one of those calf kicks from Gaethje can change the whole course of the fight.”

With UFC 254 around the corner, Khabib Nurmagomedov will defend his UFC lightweight belt after losing his father and trainer, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov.

Justin, on the other hand, will walk into the fight with an impressive win over perennial title contender, Tony Ferguson. The main event of UFC 254 is arguably the biggest test for both men. It also promises to be a mouth-watering encounter. With only 45 days more to go, who do you think will win the contest?
