Darren Till is certain of the outcome of his recently slated fight with Robert Whittaker. ‘The Gorilla’ is set to take on the former middleweight champion on Fight Island. Although details surrounding Fight Island are yet to be answered, reports came in last week about this middleweight headliner.
The Island is meant to serve as the main location for international fighters to compete amid CO-VID 19.
International fighters have experienced difficulty in entering the United States due to the travel ban put in place. Although it appears that things will open up gradually Dana White and the UFC are not waiting around.

Darren Till moved up to the middleweight division to take on Kelvin Gastelum. Although the move-up was met with some skepticism, he ended up winning out on the scorecards. With a victory over Gastelum, Till set himself up for big opportunities right away.
He was coming off two brutal losses at Welterweight and needed a fresh start in a new division.
If Darren Till secures a victory over the former Champion Robert Whittaker, he would go onto being in title contention. This would be unprecedented as fighters with longer win streaks are still far away from the top.
Darren Till made it clear on his Twitter that he would put a definitive stamp on the Whittaker fight. Making a second-round stoppage is a bold claim, but would catapult him at the top of the pack.
