Tyron Woodley has had enough of Colby Covington. The two have been calling each other out for a while now, yet, a fixture never materializes.

As we all know, UFC London got canceled due to the coronavirus. While the fight between Leon Edwards and Tyron Woodley could not take place, there was still hope for Tyron Woodley to step into the octagon at an alternate location. Obviously, his opponent would also change.

And Colby Covington did not take a moment to announce that he was willing to replace Edwards. However, the whole card was unfortunately postponed, leaving the brawl undone.

Now, hopes again sparked as both Woodley and Covington declared that they are interested in a similar fight. These declarations come in lieu of the backdrops that UFC 249 is currently facing.

However, Woodley is in no mood to bring up a fight with Covington again if it does not go through this time. He said,

“If Colby [doesn’t] fight me this time, I’m moving on. Like think about it, why am I even talking about fighting Colby? He’s never won an undisputed title. He’s never been a champion. I’ve won five world titles. I’ve fought in seven [title fights]. For me to even have his name in my mouth is stupid. This s**t is mucus. I should just spit it out [on] the grass.

“But at the end of the day, this is his last opportunity for me to even mention him. If he [doesn’t] fight me at this time, you’re never even going to hear his name, cause it doesn’t solidify my legacy to fight him. I just want to beat his ass cause y’all need to see him get whooped.”

“He never took me down one time”- Tyron Woodley

Speaking about The Chaos, Woodley went down the memory lane to talk about the rich history between the two. They were both trainees of the American Top Team, and thus, were initially teammates.

However, their relationship took an ugly turn when Covington started badmouthing Woodley as he rose through the Division rankings.

Colby even made a comment regarding their sparring sessions together. And while Colby’s version was filled with praises for himself, here’s what Woodley said,

“I don’t know if he’s tripping on acid or whatever the f*ck is going on that he won any second of any exchange at all in those weeks. Never happened. He never took me down one time. He may have landed his glove to my head maybe three times in three weeks and he literally ran from me the whole time.
