“I Can’t Do Nothing But Apologise”- Kevin Lee Opens Up About UFC Brasilia
Kevin Lee has recently apologized for his performance at UFC Brasilia. Suffering a loss to Charles Oliveira in the Nilson Nelson gym, Lee has only won 2 fights out of his last 5.
Lee fell prey to a guillotine choke 30 seconds into the third round at the hands of Oliveira. The victory saw Oliveira push his winning streak up to 7 consecutive wins. His last loss came at the hands of Paul Felder by knockout back in 2017 at UFC 218.

The loss topped a rough week off for the American Lightweight, arriving in Brazil amidst growing concerns over the Coronavirus and then failing to make weight. Kevin Lee ahead of his fight in Brasilia came in 2.5lbs over the weight limit.

Lee feels missing the weight played into his defeat. However, he feels he is solely responsible for his loss.
