Sean O’Malley stunned Eddie Wineland as well as everyone who had their eyes on his match at UFC 250. He came up with an insane knockout to claim his 2nd UFC win in 3 months. Now he has eyes set on a fight against Cody Garbrandt who notched up an equally if not more impressive KO win at the same event. ‘Sugar’ showcased his analytical skills and decided to break down both sequences and declare which of them was cooler.

Sean O’Malley analyses the UFC 250 KOs

“I’m gonna go with the 2 epic knockouts over the weekend. Mine and Cody’s.

He proceeded to give fans a practical demonstration of the KOs. A deep left body kick and then I came down and planted after a hard right hook.”

“That landed big time, that wobbled him a little bit. Then I did a switch stance. This was f***in sweet,” said Sugar as he performed a 180 leap before giving fans a sense of deja vu with his spinning kick. “It went over his head. I re-adjusted and threw,” ‘Sugar’ repeated the punch sequence, “and knocked his a** out.”

Sugar’ proceeded to walk-off again as his dog stared at him in bewilderment. He continued,“Then Cody’s was pretty cool this weekend. His was kinda like…”

O’Malley seemed a tad confused about how it was done before crouching, springing up and absolutely launching his fist into the dummy. “So that was pretty cool,” said ‘Sugar’ as he mocked ‘No Love’s post-KO walk.

Finally, the 25-year-old summed up by indicating that he preferred his own knockout.

“When you’ve got power in your hands, you can just bend down and just throw something… I choose pure, clean technique and speed. But they’re both cool.”

Is this Sean O’Malley’s way of hyping a match between himself and Cody Garbrandt. It certainly sounds exciting on paper and given the momentum the two have at present one can be sure of an entertaining fight.
