Gilbert Burns missed out on his fight against Kamaru Usman by an inch’s margin. He had to pull away from the fight at the last minute after being tested positive for the coronavirus. However, UFC President Dana White has already made it clear multiple times that Gilbert still remains the number 1 choice as the welterweight title contender.

While we may think this time away from the Octagon may take a toll over the Brazilian, we might be wrong. He, in fact, is throwing witty punches on his own manager, Ali Abdelaziz.

He cleverly used the very popular Taylor Swift song “Shake It Off” from her fifth album to create a sarcastic analogy. He set a humorous tone by using the reface feature of the Doublicat App. What a way to grapple his own manager. It’s a pun intended duplicated face-swapping feature that just looks so real.

Thanks to another Brazilian fighter, Vinny Magalhaes, we also have manager Ali Abdelaziz’s face swapped with that of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. It is so accurate, that for a moment it feels like Ali made a grand entrance in the WWE and played Dr. Smolder Bravestone in Jumanji (2019).

Now people know Gilbert runs his Twitter account on his own. So creative and funny, ROFL!

Ali is the founder of Dominance MMA Management. His company manages a great portfolio of fighters, including Khabib Nurmagomedov, Kamaru Usman, Justin Gaethje, and many other notable figures in the combat sport. He is popular for taking a crack in the support of his fighters whichever way he can.

Gilbert Burns (19-3-0) will surely get his title shot, but it remains to see when and where. He has been very active on Twitter lately. Have a look at his profile to know how much he cares about other fighters and follows their fights.
