UFC contender Jamahal Hill vows to put a mark on the light heavyweight roster after his suspension tenure gets over. That said, the 29-year-old kicked off his UFC career with back-to-back wins over Darko Stosic and Klidson Abreu.
However, he tested positive for marijuana in his latter competition, consequently conceding a six-month suspension from USADA. Hill’s suspension became a matter of great debate after several fighters declared their support for him.
USADA has always been strict with their fighters and drug laws, and Jamahal’s situation is a prime example of that. Yet, the American fighter did his best to explain the situation to fans on social media.

Jamahal Hill has some interesting information to share
The American martial artist recently turned to social media and addressed the entire scenario. As Jamahal Hill says, he did not consume marijuana before the competition.
Instead, he accepted the fight under a short notice of four weeks. While he claimed to have had stopped taking dabs by that time, Hill believes that his system still showcased some of it.

That said, a hiatus of six months is not going to change his vision over the entire light heavyweight unit in the UFC. He is expected to make his return by the middle of 2021, with plenty of big names on his radar.
Right now, Hill is undefeated in the UFC (2-0), boasting of a pro record of 8-0 in MMA.
Angela Hill offers her support to ‘Sweet Dreams’ Hill
In response to Jamahal Hill’s recent tweet, Angela Hill took to Twitter and rallied in favor of the light heavyweight contender.
It is no secret that a lot of UFC fighters consume marijuana. Some of them do so for leisure and others use it as a part of their recovery. That said, several fighters have been examined by USADA over the course of these years and many have turned in a positive test.

However, what goes unnoticed is the nature of consumption. Talking about it, Angela Hill wrote that it was informative to know about Jamahal’s suspension.

She thanked Jamahal Hill for sharing the experience and explained how it helped her in shaping her future plans. “Every fighter I’ve heard of that popped for weed claims they did not smoke in competition and I believe them,” wrote the UFC superstar.
