Jon Jones and Dana White just can’t seem to get along. Following a media scrum for UFC Fight Night: Woodley VS Burns, White was asked about Jones. And The UFC President was happy to oblige.

White claimed that Jon Jones would only take 30 million dollars for a fight with Francis Ngannou. He continued on to say that ‘Bones’ Jones asked for “Deontay Wilder money.” White and Jones have been going back and forth this entire week, and things seem to have finally come to a head.

Jon Jones, who was displeased, to say the least, took to Twitter and went off on the Company’s President. “I never asked for Diante Wilder’s numbers. And how about since Diante is making 30 million, we settle for half of that.”

Jones went as far as to disclose his current fight purse in supporting Tweets. This is a move rarely seen by the highest earners in any sport.

Jon Jones vs Dana White: How did we get here?

The beef between the two began when Jones called out Francis Ngannou for his first move up to heavyweight. Dana White stipulated that Jones was the reason the fight wouldn’t happen and that he had priced himself out. Bones was quick to push back against this, leading to the most recent events.

Fans and critics would receive this fight well. Further, it would serve to expand Jones’s legacy, as the biggest criticism faced by him is that he’s not moved up a weight class. For the time being, however, this fight has been put on the waitlist.

Jones and White have gone at each other before, and will likely do so again. However, this interaction ranks among their more unpleasant ones.

With Dana White talking about lie detector tests and Jones challenging a release from his contract, it appears that this will just increase throughout the days.
