“I don’t think it’s a very bright idea, but I don’t think Mike’s the brightest guy. It’s kind of an appropriate move. Not shocking. I don’t know what to make of it. I’m not putting too much stock into that, because it’s going to be a fight. It’s a fight and it’s me and him in there”.

“I’m going to have a great corner of coaches. Real, legit coaches and he might not. But that doesn’t make a difference. It’s just going to be us in there”.

Mike Perry is coming off two tough back to back losses and must take on the lesser experienced fighter in Gall. ‘Platinum’ has had less than positive things to say about Mickey Gall and was not impressed with his last victory.

Chiefly the fight is set to be an exciting slug-fest for the fans as Mike Perry almost never fails to deliver. His high takedown defense means most of his fights are fan-friendly stand-up battles. Mickey Gall will definitely favor his chances if he manages to get to the ground.

It remains to be seen whether Perry can sustain positive results from his new regime of fighting without a gym affiliation. Not to mention the fact his partner has no formal background in martial arts. In light of these details, the fight will be viewed with more focus and curiosity by fight fans.
