Anthony Smith fell victim to a home invasion earlier this month. On the 6th of April, he fought with the intruder and described it as “one of the toughest fights” he has ever had.

Jon Jones shared his views on this. He took to Twitter and wrote, “Glad Anthony is OK, no way dude would have left my house walking.” ‘Lionheart’ did not find this amusing and let the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion have a piece of his mind while appearing on SiriusXM Fight Nation.

Anthony Smith blasts Jon Jones

Lionheart hit back at the tweet, accusing Jon of trying to show the world how “cool” he is.

“What a perfect moment to flex Jon, in the middle of a disaster like that in my home. What a perfect opportunity to flex how goddamn cool you are.”

‘Lionheart’ reveals that he admired ‘Bones’ when he reached out, not knowing the contents of the post. He says that he thought Jones was human just for a second, and he would have to reach out and thank him. However, as he read the latter half of the tweet, realization struck.

“As you continue reading you’re like ‘oh that’s right, I forgot you’re still a f***ing d*****bag.’ It’s just his opportunity to insert himself and make sure everyone knows how cool and bad*** he is.”

“I don’t get what he’s getting it. It’s real easy to sit there and go if that guy came to my house I would have beat the shit out of him.”

‘Lionheart’ says it is really easy for ‘Bones’ to talk and flex on Twitter. He described how the element of surprise caught him out. However, it is doubtful anyone would want to attempt a break-in at Bones’ house just to prove the theory.

The UFC Lightweight Champion made the news for the wrong reasons last month. He was arrested for a DWI offense. However, he avoided jail time because he pled guilty to the charge. As a result, ‘Bones’ is under a one-year probation period.

Will the top-ranked pound for pound fighter respond to ‘Lionheart?’
