Jon Jones hints at a move to Heavyweight

In his next tweet, the top-ranked pound for pound fighter wrote, “Who would you guys consider the quicker and more technical striker Thiago Santos or Francis? If you guys think I wouldn’t take this fight you’re insane. I have absolutely nothing else to prove as a light heavyweight. I’d love that big money fight right around now. Send the deal.”

Earlier, ‘Bones’ trolled ‘The Predator’ after his stunning 20-second knockout victory at UFC 249. The win was the 2nd ranked Heavyweight contender’s fourth first-round KO on the trot.

‘The Predator’ is frustrated with Stipe Miocic and Daniel Cormier holding up the division and delaying his title shot. Fans say that ‘Bones’ could be flat on his back, with Ngannou seeming intent on taking out his pent up frustration.

‘Bones’ had gone the distance in each of his last 3 fights. However, against ‘The Predator’ he will have to watch out for bombs right from the opening seconds.

But, despite him saying he has nothing to prove, there are calls for him to have a rematch with Dominick Reyes. The Unanimous decision win at UFC 247 divided fans and pundits alike. Dana White himself stated that he gave the bout to ‘The Devastator.’ However, ‘Bones’ poured cold water on suggestions of a rematch and called out Jan Blachowicz last month.

Does Jones Jones have a chance in the Heavyweight division? Or will a move up prove to be his undoing?
