“Chaos” Colby Covington is apparently ready to jump back into action. And he has his preferred targets marked out.

In a recent interview with Bret Okamoto for ESPN, Colby revealed that he is looking to prove his mettle. And with the Welterweight Division as active as it is with Tyron Woodley making his comeback and the champion, Kamaru Usman, training hard for whoever his next opponent is, there are high chances of Covington finding himself in a battle sooner or later.

After all, it’s not like there is a shortage of people who want to fight Colby, as he has ongoing issues with many people, including Woodley, Martin ‘Fake Newsman’ Kamaru Usman, and ‘Street Judas’ Jorge Masvidal. He said,

“This player in the division is saying he’s ready to fight tomorrow. Anybody can get it. I want to prove that I’m the best Welterweight in the world. I know I’m the best Welterweight in the world. Anybody can get it, especially Marty ‘Fake Newsman’ or Street Judas. Whenever they’re ready to go, man. I’m just waiting on those guys.”

Colby Covington also carried on with the ongoing altercation he has with Jorge Masvidal. He said,

“But, yeah, Dana said there [are] other options for Street Judas Masvidal. What are those other options? I mean, Conor doesn’t want to fight him. We know that [masvidal] has got 14 losses. And now he’s got 15 losses because he’s out begging for Conor. And Conor wants nothing to do with him. You know, you see Street Judas out there with the bathrobe. Who f***ing “[gimmick] bro? You got a f***ing bathrobe on! He’s been beaten up every way possible, Bret! Knocked out choked out. Back in high school, he dropped out! And guess what? When he used to live with me, I kicked him off the couch! Out [of] my house!”

A devastating shot at Masvidal, for sure. Bitterness emerged between the two when the former teammates and roommates started climbing the ladders of success in the same division. The feud between the two is as loud and as derogatory as it can get. And settling it inside the Octagon might just end it once and for all.

Who do you think Covington should fight next?
