Darren Till believes that Israel Adesanya will come out on top against Yoel Romero. Till while talking to MMA journalist Jim Edwards revealed this prediction.

The Gorilla feels Adesanya will successfully defend his title over 5 rounds. But he didn’t rule out the possibility of The Soldier of God causing an upset. Mainly because Till fears getting on the wrong side of the Cuban.

“Adesanya is on a roll and I think he may just take it. I don’t think he will stop him. I think it will be a fought five rounds. Yoel is very capable of an upset. I don’t want to piss off Yoel. He’d f*cking kill me. He’s a monster.”- Darren Till on Adesanya v Romero

The Gorilla called out Yoel Romero and the following day came out with a hilarious explanation for the same. He posted a meme saying “When you wake up and realize you called out Yoel Romero” in an attempt to withdraw his call out. He claims he had a little too much to drink that night.

It is his social media game that makes the media adore him. He holds a UFC record of 6-2-1. His first loss came against Tyron Woodley in a UFC Welterweight title bout. It came by submission in the second round.

The Team Kaobon fighter went toe to toe against Kelvin Gastelum at UFC 244: Masvidal v Diaz on the 3rd of November. The American fighter was coming off of a loss against The Last Stylebender, Israel Adesanya.

Yoel Romero will unquestionably put up a tough fight. For he is one of the few fighters in Adesanya’s division who can match him at his speed.

The odds certainly seem to favor the Nigerian, thanks to his ability to pick up points with his fatally accurate strikes. He may also come away with a late knockout. But Romero’s irregular style and ability to switch on the attack at a moment’s notice may prove to be the catalyst. Since all the Cuban Powerhouse needs is for one hit to connect properly and that will be the end of it.
