Henry Cejudo is willing to put on the gloves again to fight inside the Octagon. But, only against one opponent: The UFC Featherweight Champion, Alexander Volkanovski.
“Triple C” feels that holding a title in a third division, i.e. the Featherweight division, will help cement his legacy further. Therefore, the only MMA fight that will bring him back will be the one against the presiding Featherweight Champion.

Speaking with TMZ about the same, he said, “There would only be one fight that would really bring me back, that would really wake me up in the morning. Other than Ryan Garcia, it would be Alexander Volkanovski. That overgrown midget. I would love to make him bend the knee because he’s already halfway there.”
Of course, Henry has his aim fixed at making Lightweight boxing prodigy, the undefeated Ryan Garcia, “bend the knee”. However, it looks like he will not mind coming back to do the same with Alexander “The Great” Volkanovski.
Henry Cejudo wants a third title “to be different”
While “The King of Cringe” has already made his mark larger than life in the world of combat sports, he still wants to further embolden his legacy. He said,
“I want a 3rd title because I want to be different… To go into the history books as the greatest mixed martial artist of all time.”
While Cejudo might just embark on a journey to becoming one of the greatest with talks of a fight with Ryan Garcia in Saudi Arabia, winning a UFC title in the third division will certainly make him uncomparable as a GOAT.
Moreover, the two have already had enough back-and-forth banter before Cejudo’s retirement.

Cejudo announced his retirement out of the blue after he defeated Dominick Cruz at UFC 249. However, before his retirement, he had expressed his wish to become the “quadruple champion” by beating Volkanovki.

Nevertheless, Alexander has his own division to keep active at the moment. And the first task ahead of him is his rematch with “Blessed” Max Holloway.
If the fight does materialize, do you think Henry Cejudo will be able to conquer “The Great”?
