The return of ‘The Notorious One‘, Conor McGregor, in January 2020 was as dynamic as anything involving the Irish star is, if not more. However, there was one aspect related to his return that spoke volumes about the popularity he holds in.
During the presser for his fight with Donald Cerrone, Conor answered a question that came from an out-of-place journalist. Former NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson asked McGregor whether he is sure enough about winning the fight in order for Chad to make a bet. Conor said in turn that he was one hundred percent sure about his victory over ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone.

Apparently, in the brief conversation that followed, Chad told Conor that he would beat him in FIFA, a game based on the game of worldwide soccer on platforms like the PlayStation and XBOX.

Chad Johnson also met McGregor a couple of times during events. In one of these meetings, he explained the whole saga behind his name ‘Ocho Cinco’.
Apparently, ‘Ocho Cinco’ was Chad’s jersey number in Spanish. It literally translates to 85 (eighty-five). He modified his jersey to the same effect, and actually faced a fine for the same.
However, he stuck to the name. he recently posted a throwback of the encounter, wherein he reminisces telling Mcgregor that he can beat him in FIFA.
