“I Will Follow You Into The Dark”- Cody Garbrandt Sends An Ominous Message To Deiveson Figueiredo

Former UFC Bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt took to Instagram and clapped back at the reigning 125-pound champion in Deiveson Figueiredo. The latter took to social media and fired heavy artillery towards Garbrandt as the two are expected to face off. The fight is slated for November and will see ‘No Love’ attempt to snag a second title in the promotion.

Both the fighters are heavy-handed stand-up specialists who love to engage in all-out firefights. Not to mention, they have a significant propensity to secure the Knockout blow and put their opponent onto the canvas. Chiefly, the MMA community was excited to hear of the announcement of the Flyweight title fight.

Moreover, he was KO’ed against Pedro Munhoz in a fight that surprised the MMA world as a whole. Questions began to crop up regarding his ability to withstand punishment at 135-pounds.

The newly minted Flyweight king in Deiveson Figueiredo will be keen to secure a win over the former champion in Garbrandt. Fans and analysts are high off his most recent performance against a top-ranked contender in Joe Benavidez. “Deus da Guerra” snagged an incredibly dominant win over Benavidez in their outing.

Additionally, should he manage to scalp a win over Cody, he will certainly become a household name. The power he possesses in both his hands is truly intimidating at 125-pounds and Garbrandt will have to be wary. The MMA world has been laying in wait to watch him return to the cage and observe his growth.
