Well, looks like ‘Cowboy’ is eager to jump into the octagon again. His last fight was at UFC 246 in January, when he went up against Conor McGregor.
Unfortunately for Cerrone, McGregor TKO’d him within 40 seconds of the first round. Post the fight, rumors regarding Cerrone’s retirement started gaining traction.
However, Cerrone denounced these claims by asserting that he would return in June-July. Although, it looks like he already aching to fight again.
There is a huge probability that Cerrone will get the fight. With travel restrictions causing the cancellation of several fights, Dana White is looking for alternatives to make UFC 249 “the baddest card ever”.
