“I’m going to corner my boy”- Daniel Cormier

“I’m cornering Dana, I want to corner Dana if he fights Dan Le Batard. I’m going to corner my boy, Dana White. It’ll be good, I don’t have to train Dana. Team White, team UFC we are going to hire the best nutritionist, we are going to hire the greatest trainers, we are going to hire the best boxing coaches. We are going to do this thing in the most scientific way that has ever been done. Big Dan Le Batard better gets ready. I want the fight, I’m ready for the fight. Come on, you want the fight too, you want to see Dana actually fight, be honest”? said Cormier on DC and Helwani

Daniel Cormier is also set to return to the octagon for the trilogy bout against Stipe Miocic. There were some delays, due to Miocic’s injury and because he works as a first responder. However, DC teased fans by posting a picture of him allegedly signing the contract on Twitter. Stipe also teased fans on his potential return, essentially confirming the trilogy bout will happen soon. However, for the time being, fans are hoping for Dana White to enter the ring as well. White has thrown shade at Le Batard and addressed the situation during the post-fight press conference at UFC 250.

“Dan Le Batard is a big mouth. He’s all talk and no action. And I can promise you if he’s even remotely serious, it ends very badly for him. But I will give you this, Dan Le Batard, if you are serious, I’ll put up $250,000 for whatever charity we come up with. We can do it, pal” said White during the conference.

With Daniel set to overlook Dana’s training plan, it’ll certainly generate a lot of hype if the boss steps into the ring.
