US President Donald Trump lauded the UFC for their efforts. ‘El Cucuy’ responded to the President for his comment and for praising him. He also revealed that Dana White was of the opinion that he could have finished the fight.

The UFC is continuing with events and hasn’t looked back since UFC 249. Tony Ferguson has recovered from his gruesome orbital bone fracture and returned to training. He will hope to recover his ‘Midas’ touch to prove he can rise after encountering adversity.

‘El Cucuy’ is yet to be booked in a fight, however the rumor mill is abuzz that he will fight Dustin Poirier in a lightweight title eliminator. Fans can take nothing for sure unless either the fighter or the promotion announces it. 

However, one can expect Ferguson to be around the title scene for the time being as the UFC owe a debt of gratitude to him for remaining steadfast in their troubled times.
