Israel Adesanya has grown up with social media culture and embraces it. The UFC middleweight champion does not shy away from a Twitter beef, as seen with the constant back and forth between Stylebender and Jon Jones. With the Paul brothers beefing with MMA fighters these days, the Nigerian born fighter took to social media to troll the eldest of the two brothers, Logan Paul.

Israel Adesanya trolls Logan Paul

The UFC middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya, recently joined the list of MMA fighters that have now gone out to troll the Paul brothers. While a part of the MMA audience may despise it, this does drive a large number of casual MMA fans and new fans.

‘Stylebender’ tweeted a meme which showed him wrapping a choke over the older Paul brother with a caption, “Hey Lil’ mama lemme whisper in your ear.” This is an oblivious jab at the American YouTube celebrity on their venture into combat sports.

While many fans might hate the idea of the Paul brothers stepping into the ring or the octagon, one cannot deny that they have been putting in the work. The drama and the videos may be all an act, but it shouldn’t distract the fans from seeing that there is hard work and training that happens behind the scenes.

Adesanya vs Blachowicz at UFC 259

The UFC has recently confirmed that middleweight champion Israel Adesanya will move up to light heavyweight to challenge Jan Blachowicz for the 205 title. Blachowicz had most recently won the title after Jon Jones had relinquished the belt in pursuit of Heavyweight.

Ironically, after a year of feuding and calling out between Adesanya and Jones, they will not face each other at 205. Instead, Adesanya’s opponent now will be the Polish powerhouse who has come into his own, putting together an impressive win streak to the title.

A win for Adesanya will put him alongside a select group of Champ Champs in the UFC. This list includes the likes of Conor McGregor, Amanda Nunes, and Daniel Cormier.
