In a recent post on Instagram, Conor McGregor revealed how he overcame his dark past.

Conor McGregor has witnessed his fair share of controversies. After his bout with boxing legend, Floyd Mayweather, McGregor was involved in several court cases. Many believed that the money earned in the fight with Mayweather got the better of him.

McGregor threw a dolly at a bus—in which Khabib Nurmagomedov was present—in 2018. This incident led to a series of events that caused McGregor’s downfall. His fight Khabib was one of his worst ever. Conor got dominated for a good amount of time, and eventually submitted in the fourth round.

Furthermore, he received a ton of heat for slapping an old man at a bar and breaking a fan’s cellphone.

Conor McGregor makes an incredible comeback

However, being a fierce competitor, McGregor made a spectacular comeback. Almost two years after his bout against Nurmagomedov, Conor returned to the octagon to face off against Donald Cerrone. McGregor finished ‘Cowboy’ in just 40 seconds.

Besides MMA, McGregor also took bold steps to fight off the Coronavirus pandemic in Ireland. The Irishman donated €1 million to battle the virus, and also urged the Irish government to impose a full lockdown. He is also fighting for the better treatment of the Irish frontline workers.

On his Instagram, McGregor explained how he made the changes in his life. Also, revealed what others can do.
