“It Takes You out of Your Body”- Henry Cejudo Reveals Scary Drug Experience With DMT

Henry Cejudo walked away from professional fighting aged just 33. However, it seems as though he is readying himself to enter the world of boxing. He is receiving lessons from one of the greatest to enter the ring in Mike Tyson. However, in addition to boxing, ‘Triple C’ revealed another thing ‘Iron’ has gotten him into.

On the Joe Rogan Experience, ‘The Messenger’ shared that he did DMT with Mike Tyson. “I feel like the toad is probably one of the best things that’s happened to me. Because it makes you realize and reflect on what truly matters.”

The former UFC 2 division champion shared his own experience whilst on the substance.

“So then I go up, and I do it, and man it took me to a, especially out of retirement here, I almost kind of wanted somewhat answers, I was hoping that it would give me like okay man this is the path…and it took me to my mom’s first love, man.”

“It showed me like, almost like in a movie, you know, how I was born, how my mom had me, how by the time I was 8 years old I had my sister so I was no longer the youngest. How my mom in all fairness kind of somewhat pushed me to the side, leaving home at the age of 17 and, and substituting my mom’s love for self-fulfillment, wrestling, mixed martial arts. It brought me back to the person that created me, it got me back to my mom’s love.

“And it resurrected something in me and I was crying and speaking in Spanish. It was something scary because it takes you out of your body. It’s almost like you’re in judgment day and you’re being convicted and you’re the judge too. It’s like you’re so dead that you’re alive”

‘The Messenger’ is certainly shadowing ‘Iron’ well. He reveals that he tried out DMT as he saw “Uncle Mike” moments after he had consumed it.  As per Cejudo, he saw Mike “twisting and turning and talking about…talking about a lot of his past.”

However, to the dismay of fans and in keeping his new friend’s trust, ‘The Messenger’ does not spill the beans on the incident.
