“It Was All Nates Blood on Me”- Conor McGregor Takes Another Jab at Nate Diaz

Social media platforms like Twitter have been experiencing a lot of turbulence lately. And it is none other than Conor McGregor in the eye of the storm.

It seems like the fighter has a lot of time on his hands after having spent a major part of the quarantine period helping those on the frontlines of the Coronavirus pandemic in his home country. From calling out the biggest names in the UFC’s lightweight division to sharing random facts, the Irishman has kept rather busy when he’s not occupied with his philanthropic efforts.

UFC Jacksonville witnessed an extraordinary moment when Anthony Smith handed a loose tooth to the referee while Glover Teixeira was on his back. Smith lost his tooth somewhere along the fourth round and referee Jason Herzog took responsibility for the stray tooth without stopping the contest.

Teixeira brought the fight to an end in the fifth round with a barrage of punches from the mount position. Smith revealed his dental situation to his cornermen rather audibly, towards the end of the fight.

McGregor, watching the contest took to Twitter to impart some knowledge to fans all over the world. The nature of the information? The UFC’s emergency dental solutions, a glass of milk.

“Unknown fact – They keep a big pint of milk cage side for any teeth that gets knocked out mid-fight. What a game! #GreatFightsTonight – Double Champ King of it All,” said McGregor in a Tweet shortly after the fight.

True to his nature, The Notorious One did not waste an opportunity to blow his own trumpet. Because shortly after he posted this ‘unknown fact’, he dropped another golden nugget.

“Another unknown fact – I’ve only ever my bled my own blood once inside that Octagon @ufc #GreatFightsAgainTonightDouble Champ King of it All,” said McGregor in another Tweet

However, what ensued McGregor’s post is what is interesting to note. The 31-year-old southpaw engaged in a back and forth with a rival fan.

Following this, another fan tried to contradict the former 2 division champion’s claims only to be shot down, much like his predecessor. The fan posted a picture of McGregor with what looks like “minor lacerations” on his face following his fight with Nate Diaz. However, McGregor was quick to refute his claims.

“Splish splash I was takin’ a bath,” said Conor McGregor while ending the rather amusing session of ribbing. A catchy rhyme that the fans will have no trouble remembering.
