Kamaru Usman is one of the most dominant fighters in the UFC today. His results and record can speak for itself. ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ is the UFC Welterweight Champion and is due to face Jorge Masvidal next. In a chat with ESPN MMA’s Brett Okamoto, he spoke at length over a variety of topics which included the reason Henry Cejudo is calling out legends, and his future opponent.

 Towards the end of that chat, Okamoto put forth a light-hearted question to the UFC Welterweight Champion. He asked, “Why are you never wearing a shirt?” The question drew a chuckle from ‘The Nigerian Nightmare.’

“I’m in my house, its sunny south Florida why do I need to wear a shirt. It’s 85°,” said the Nigerian Nightmare. He proceeded to ask Alexa the temperature which was 83°

“It’s 83. Let’s be honest Brett this is offseason right here. It’s offseason and I’m chiseled like this, you know. Why put a shirt on,” said The Nigerian Nightmare as he gave fans a peek at his chiseled torso. 

He ended the chat by advising Okamoto to take his shirt off as he is in his own house.

‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ has not been in action for over 4 months. His last fight was a title defense against Colby Covington. He won the fight via TKO in the final round. A look at his physique should be enough for fans to know that he is in shape and ready to return to the UFC soon where he wants to fight Jorge Masvidal next. 

“I’m always training, I’m always getting in the workout once a day two a day. I’m always doing something so it’s easier to make that switch and say hey I can go in 3 weeks like I previously just did and I was all in. When you’re training at that peak level. You’re basically just tearing your body if you don’t have a fight,” said Usman.
