Jorge Masvidal vs the UFC has become a public affair with only one party suffering. This is because ‘Gamebred’ was overlooked for a title shot against Kamaru Usman. The fighter has attacked almost all detractors and took a shot at the fighters who double as UFC commentators branding them “white knights.” The comments had no effect on UFC Heavyweight contender and announcer Daniel Cormier who claimed to have done “it” better than Masvidal.
And for the #whiteknights that have commentating jobs with the ufc that say “just fight” you guys should be embarrassed to call yourselves current/former fighters. Not one of you been doing it as long as me and like me. There’s a reason you are “commentating”

Daniel Cormier dismisses White Knights jibe by Jorge Masvidal
On the show, ‘DC and Helwani’, Cormier dissected ‘Gamebred’s tweet. Here he said, “I never said ‘just fight.’ But the guy when he says current or former fighters. And he says you haven’t been doing it as long as me? No, I haven’t. Or like me what does or like me mean? Had as much success?”
The comment is a dig at the 3rd ranked Welterweight contender who is yet to claim a belt in the UFC. His only championship in fighting came in 2006 at AFC 17. Next ‘DC’ gives his own example to dispel ‘Gamebred’s remarks.

“If he’s talking about me, I’ve done it like him, if not better. Not just him, I’ve done it better than him and most people in the world, so I think maybe he wasn’t talking about me.”
Daniel Cormier is only the second fighter after Conor McGregor to hold Championships in two weight classes simultaneously. The 41-year-old added, “If he was, it just doesn’t work. Maybe he’s talking about those others guys because that part of ‘or like me’ doesn’t work for me.”

Finally, ‘DC’ comments on his relatively 11-year fighting career in comparison to Gamebred who has been a professional fighter since 2003. “I haven’t done it as long, but in the time I have done it. I’ve done it better than just about anybody has done it, if not better than anybody that has ever done it.”
On the show, ‘DC’ even shared how a negotiation should take place thereby taking a jibe at both Masvidal and Jones.
