Jon Jones stunned fans by vacating his UFC Light Heavyweight title recently. Jones successfully defended the title against the best fighters in the world and has the most title defenses in the division.
Jones has made his issues with the UFC very clear and had threatened to vacate the title a few months ago. The former champion was set to move up to heavyweight and fight Francis Ngannou.
However, Dana White and Jon Jones got into an ugly spat on social media, and ‘Bones’ has been on the sideline ever since.

Can Jon Jones dominate the heavyweight division?
Jon Jones is often considered as the greatest fighter of all time, due to his title defenses and the quality of opponents he has faced. Despite some major controversies, Jones has successfully dominated and defeated fighters such as Alexander Gustafsson and long-time rival Daniel Cormier.
Now that Jones has vacated his title, he has challenged the fighters in the division to break his record. Also, Jones promised to donate $100,000 to charity, if any fighter breaks the record.

“First light heavyweight to win six championships in a row I’ll pay $100,000 to whatever charity of their liking. I’ll be waiting,” said Jones on Twitter.

Jon Jones revealed he’s almost certain no one will ever break his record. He has certainly left a lasting legacy in the sport owing to his amazing performances against some of the best in the world.
“Was going to challenge a light heavyweight to beat my world championship record but we all know that’s probably not happening in this lifetime,” wrote Jones.
