Ariel Helwani of ESPN broke the news via Twitter. The BMF champ will be a part of a day-long “Fighters against socialism” bus tour, which takes place in Florida this Saturday. After going through Tampa, Orlando, and Miami, the rally will conclude at American Top Team gym in Coconut Creek.

Masvidal confirmed the news for his fans, claiming it to be “super necessary”.

The news quickly generated a lot of negative reviews, too. ‘Gamebred’ has often been very vocal about his disdain for socialism and communism. President Donald Trump has been a major supporter of UFC, particularly Jorge Masvidal

The UFC and President Donald Trump have a relationship that dates back to the early days of the promotion. Trump supported Dana White and the Fertitta brothers when the promotion was struggling to make its presence felt. Consequently, the UFC supremo has also never chided away telling the masses what he feels about the President.

White spoke at the Republican National Convention on behalf of Trump. A few weeks later he showed up at another Trump rally. Several UFC fighters such as Justin Gaethje, Henry Cejudo, and the MAGA advocate Colby Covington also accompanied Dana.
