‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ Kamaru Usman outwrestled Jorge Masvidal for all the five rounds in their latest encounter at the headliner of UFC 251 to retain his welterweight title. Although the highly-anticipated match up appeared to be a one-sided contest with Kamaru Usman dominating the whole fight, Usman seemingly had to deal with some criticisms too. Meanwhile, Daniel Cormier has curbed the critics by explaining how the matchup would have provided similar results, even if it was materialized under different circumstances.
A lot of fight fans pounced upon Kamaru Usman all over the internet and slammed him for taking the fight to the judges. Although Kamaru Usman left no doubts inside the octagon against Jorge Masvidal, umpteen fans stated that “Gamebred” would have outperformed Usman if he would have been able to access a full fight camp. However, Daniel Cormier is not ready to accept the logic.
