Due to the pandemic, Harrison hasn’t been able to compete under the PFL banner this year as the promotion suspended its 2020 season. The 30-year-old Harrison is currently undefeated in her pro-MMA career and is looking to get another win this year.

Brett Okamoto from ESPN MMA took to Twitter to update the community on Harrison’s future. He tweeted, “PFL’s Kayla Harrison is trying to book another fight in 2020. Per her manager Ali Abdelaziz, Kayla has permission to fight in Titan FC in December, if they can find an opponent. Abdelaziz told me he’ll help pay her opponent to make it happen.”

Will we see Kayla Harrison in the UFC?
With the UFC as her ultimate goal, Harrison is currently unbeaten in her eight-fight pro MMA career. She has six finishes to her name and is considered one of the brightest prospects in the sport.

While Harrison fights in the lightweight division of the PFL, the UFC does not possess a 155 lbs category for female fighters. Having made her featherweight debut at Invicta, Harrison proved that she could get down to 145. This left fans hopeful of a match-up with UFC queen, Amanda Nunes.

The UFC women’s featherweight division was created to incorporate Cris ‘Cyborg’ into the promotion. However, with Cyborg now having made the move to Bellator, 145 at the UFC seems to be lacking the talent to test Nunes for her title.

With her current undisputed and undefeated streak, Harrison can be a sure threat to anyone in women’s MMA. She has already acknowledged Nunes as the GOAT and will look to test herself against the most dominant female fighter on the planet.
