Khabib Nurmagomedov Responds to Justin Gaethje- Calls Him Classy

UFC 254 is set to see a titanic clash in the promotion’s 155-pound division for the gold strap. Khabib Nurmagomedov (28-0) will square off against interim champion Justin Gaethje to unify the lightweight belt on October 24. Chiefly, the scheduled bout has MMA fans excited and is primed as one of the best fights of the year.

Justin Gaethje spoke to Michael Bisping on a recent appearance of the latter’s podcast ‘Believe You Me’. He touched upon his emphatic victory against Tony Ferguson at UFC 249, as well as his aspirations for the future. Additionally, he previewed his massive unification bout against ‘The Eagle’ in what will be an event for the ages.

‘The Highlight’ has endeared himself to the MMA community off the back of his merits inside the octagon. Moreover, his propensity for pure violence and hunger to chase the finish makes him a must-watch 155-pounder. Gaethje candidly expressed his thought process about being locked in a cage with the consensus GOAT.

“There’s gonna be a zone in front of me. It’s not very big, and it’s gonna be a zone of death. I have to represent death every time he enters the zone. That’s what I am the best at, creating carnage, creating car crashes.”

He doubled down on his quest to cause chaos in his scheduled title match-up to disrupt the champion’s rhythm. Chiefly, Khabib has not let factors outside the cage dictate his pace in a fight, as seen during UFC 229 against Conor McGregor.

“My only goal when I step in there is to create as many car crashes as possible. Whether it be our bodies hitting, our heads hitting, our fu**ing shoulders hitting, our fists hitting, it doesn’t matter. I have to create car crashes cause that’s the only way to beat this guy.”

The Eagle‘ responded to a post on the matter on Instagram and seemed to be geared for the fight. He appears to be respectful of his opponent’s skills, however, as he enters the bout with an indomitable will.

The Lightweight title fight main event is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated bouts in recent memory. Khabib Nurmagomedov has gone on record to say that he will be fighting only two more times, once being against Gaethje. Chiefly, with his time in the cage limited, fight fans will be champing at the bit to see him compete under the bright lights.
