Khabib Nurmagomedov wants to see them surrender in the end
The undefeated lightweight champion recently turned to Instagram and surprised fight fans with an alarming picture.
Khabib Nurmagomedov posted a picture of his father, and below he poised a couple of images from his last two contests against Conor McGregor (UFC 229) and Dustin Poirier (UFC 242). He submitted both the men to defend his lightweight title.
Recalling the moment, Khabib revealed how his father had advised him to wait till the end of a fight. In the caption, the Dagestani icon wrote, “As father used to say: impose your game on him, go to the end, and you will see how others surrender”
Perhaps a warning for Justin Gaethje, who is going to face Khabib in the headliner at UFC 254. ‘The Highlight’ is known for being unpredictable and stupefying his rivals; case in point, his spectacular KO win against Tony Ferguson at UFC 249 that earned him his title shot.

That said, Gaethje undoubtedly has what it takes to deliver some serious damage inside the cage. However, Khabib won’t be an easy call and the American might have to dig deep to clinch the UFC Lightweight strap.
Khabib has claimed of taking one more fight after UFC 254 before he calls it quits. ‘The Eagle’ has also clarified that his father wanted him to reach the mark of 30-0. At 28-0, the Dagestani powerhouse is only short of two more wins to reach the landmark.
