Khabib Nurmagomedov will stage his return to action against Justin Gaethje in the headliner of UFC 254 in October.

Dana White and the team are reportedly planning to put on a blockbuster that night. The PPV is expected to be a pure ‘Dagestani Show’ for the Russian fans.

Matchmakers are still to determine the official fight card for UFC 254. However, Khabib vs Gaethje has officially been loaded as the main-event.

Khabib took to social media and posted a snap of his walkout. The undefeated lightweight champion surely seems excited for his return.

In the caption, Khabib wrote, “The three of us will be back one day to # ufc254 Abubakar Nurmagomedov, Islam Makhachev. In addition, there will be Umar Nurmagomedov. In short, there will be four fighters from our team.”

Although UFC hasn’t deemed the names official, sports journalist Igor Lazorin has confirmed Umar Nurmagomedov’s entry into the card.

Islam Makhachev

Islam Makhachev is now on a six-fight win streak, looking sharp in his UFC journey. After embroiling in a mugshot with Conor McGregor post-UFC 229, he became a familiar face.

However, Makhachev is much more than that. He has stupefied the fans with consistent performance. The Russian now needs to know his official opponent to gear up for UFC 254.

Abubakar Nurmagomedov

Following his unsuccessful UFC debut against David Zawada, Abubakar would look forward to regaining his momentum at UFC 254.

The 30-year-old brought massive expectations when he set foot against Zawada at Fight Night on November 9, 2019. Surprisingly, the Russian suffered a humiliating first-round loss.

Zawada submitted him with a triangle. Now, Abubakar would look for redemption in his upcoming appearance.

Umar Nurmagomedov

The 24-year-old rising prospect will stage his debut into the promotion at UFC 254. Umar is undefeated in his pro- MMA career till now. Boasting a pro record of 12-0, he will bring a lot of hope behind.

Yet, UFC is nothing new to surprise upsets. That said, Umar will have to outperform every single time to retain himself amongst the best. Similar to his teammates, Umar is also unknown about his upcoming rival.
