Former UFC Interim middleweight champion Gastelum is now on a three-fight losing streak. Gastelum lost two back-to-back fights in UFC after losing the interim title against Israel Adesanya at UFC 236. Moreover, in his latest appearance against Jack Hermansson, ‘KG’ faced a similar misfortune and lost the fight via submission in one round.

The immediate loss has brought Gastelum into the seventh spot of UFC middleweight rankings. He would have to wait a bit longer and would need back-to-back wins to get back into the title mix. Gastelum is one of the most active contenders in UFC. Fans expect him to come back shortly.
