Viana was successful in landing some punches at the beginning. However, Anderson started to take control as the fight progressed.

During one of the exchanges, Anderson landed a perfectly timed right hand on Viana’s chin. The blow rocked the Brazilian as she fell back on the canvas. Anderson tried to follow up with strikes but the referee stepped in time. Hence, preventing any unnecessary damage to Viana.

With a knockout like that, Anderson made a powerful statement. She now stands along with Felicia Spencer for a title shot at the champion. Spencer was also able to secure a win over Zara Fairn dos Santos on the same card.

Although Anderson destroyed her opponent, Felicia Spencer holds a win over her. Spencer has only one loss on her record. With a dominant win over Zara Fairn, it puts her ahead of Anderson.
