Israel Adesanya to Partner With ‘Call of Duty’ and ‘Engage’ in New Deal

UFC superstar Israel Adesanya has all doors open to him. The middleweight champion has now partnered up with Engage clothing and Call Of Duty for some exclusive merchandise.

Celebrating the launch of Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War, Activision has paired with Aussie fight gear supplier Engage. Izzy who is the brand ambassador for Call of Duty showcased the limited edition collection.

The collection is designed to be worn inside and outside the cage. The COD Black Ops: Cold War capsule contains key pieces of fight-wear. The world and storyline of the game has served as the inspiration for the gear.

Along with Israel Adesanya’s fellow UFC fighters including featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski and Kai Kara-France have joined in representing the collection. However, the merchandise is not for sale. The only way fans can get their hands on the limited edition gear is by entering a draw.

Stylebender prepares for Modern Warfare with Modern Warfare

MMA fans are aware of the fact that Adesanya is an avid gamer. He incorporates a lot of his favorite anime and games into his fighting style. ‘The Last Stylebender’ attributes his name to the popular show The Last Airbender.

Before his fight with Yoel Romero at UFC 248, Adesanya tweeted, “What better way to prepare for Modern Warfare, than Modern Warfare. @CallOfDuty #ModernWarfare”

Adesanya also competed with Kalyn Ponga in a Call of Duty match with the winner getting to shave off the other’s head.

When will Israel Adesanya fight next?

Izzy’s immediate future seems to be at light heavyweight as he has cleared out most of the middleweight division and needs new challenges.

Though Adesanya’s beef was with Jon Jones, the lure of a second title could be powerful enough to get ‘Izzy’ to light heavyweight. However, the new light-heavyweight champion has maintained that he will not be fighting before March.

This leaves Adesanya with plenty of time to prepare for his move up to 205 pounds. However, he could use the time to parade around his cool new merchandise collection.
