Jon Jones commented on Stipe Miocic’s hunger for a new challenge and his probable switch to boxing to satisfy that hunger.

Stipe Miocic is fresh off another successful title defense. He fought heavyweight legend Daniel Cormier for the third time and won the bout via a decision. This fight marked yet another triumph for Miocic.

For his next fight in the UFC, almost all signs point at only one person, Francis Ngannou. After a failed attempt in 2018, Ngannou is very keen on getting a second shot at the title. He took on Miocic in 2018 and lost the fight via a unanimous decision.

Ever since that fight, Ngannou has been driven by one motive and one motive only! He wants another shot at Miocic and a chance to prove himself. He has done almost everything right since his loss and has worked his way back to the #1 contender’s spot. Even UFC president Dana White said that it’s the fight he “definitely” wants to see.

But a fight against Francis doesn’t seem to interest Stipe Miocic. Having already beaten him convincingly, Stipe wants a different challenge. He wants something that excites him, something he has ever done before.

When asked about his future fight, Miocic said he “would love to box.”
