Aljamain Sterling, currently on a five-fight win streak, is a legitimate contender for the next 135 lbs title. Which means he can square off with Petr ‘No Mercy’ Yan shortly. Although the fight is yet to be officially announced, Sterling has started to denounce Yan already.

Aljamain Sterling mocks bantamweight champion, Petr Yan, via social media
Sterling posted an image of Yan from the Russian’s latest title victory at UFC 251 against Jose Aldo. However, ‘Funkmaster’ replaced the UFC world championship belt with a paper strap in the image. No wonder this clear mockery can turn in to one of the biggest feuds in the bantamweight history.
In the caption, Sterling targeted Yan and clarified that he is coming for him. “Paper Yan is a paper champion. His resume is single ply, too thin to even wipe my ass with it. Hasn’t beaten a single guy in the top five. So you know I’m coming on that no tissues….pause!” wrote Sterling.
