The undefeated middleweights have already gone back and forth on each other multiple times. That said, social media banters have been one of their biggest armories. Both Adesanya and Costa have used their social media platforms to belittle the other or enhance their persona.

While Costa has always been mocked for having a tainted relationship with the USADA, the Brazilian has grandly responded to his critics.

Paulo Costa has some answer for his critics and USADA

‘The Eraser’ has newly turned to social media, giving a  good laugh to the fight fans. He posted a picture of himself, walking off clean from an explosion.

He tagged the explosion as USADA and billed himself to be free from the anti-doping bodies’ string. In the caption, Paulo Costa wrote, “Clean as a (tree)”.

Now, it can clearly trigger Israel Adesanya, who has been accusing Costa of in-taking steroids throughout his career. Adesanya and Costa’s physical differences have also been a matter of interest in the matchup.

Costa, who naturally weighs almost 200 lbs, boasts a gigantic physique. Meanwhile, Adesanya is comparatively leaner and slimmer.

Yet, when it comes to putting on a show, Adesanya and Costa are equally eminent inside the cage. Both of them are still to encounter a loss in professional MMA.

Thus, things are going to change when they collide against each other at UFC 253.
