Count Paulo Costa among fighters who wish to have an increased payday in the UFC.
Paulo Costa has made a demand that is similar to the one made by Jon Jones recently. According to UFC President Dana White, Jon Jones wanted $30 million for his next fight. However, unlike Jon Jones and Jorge Masvidal who have taken shots at the UFC, the Brazilian has done nothing of that sort.

Costa wants a whopping $15 million to coach the next season of The Ultimate Fighter. Along with the appearance, there will also be the added perk of fighting Israel Adesanya for the Middleweight belt.
Dana White has recently confirmed that he is looking to reboot the reality show that has given the UFC several exciting fighters. He also named several possible pairs who could appear as coaches in the next season. The No. 2 ranked Costa and Adesanya were one of the pairs in contention. ‘Borrachinha’ asked his fans on Twitter how they felt about the idea.

I want 15 million like Jon

The demands of Paulo Costa didn’t stop at just $15 million
Given the pay of UFC fighters, $15 million is a huge amount. Even Conor McGregor‘s disclosed pay in his last fight with Donald Cerrone was only $3 million. ‘The Notorious One’ did claim of making around $80 million from the fight. However, the demand made by Costa is highly far off from what can be expected realistically.
Regardless, Costa isn’t just satisfied with the money. He wants something extra as well.

Costa’s tweets seem an attempt to grab the attention of both the UFC and Israel Adesanya.
The Ultimate Fighter, which began in 2005, saw the finale of its last season take place on the 30th of November, 2018. Dana White Contender Series has essentially replaced the show. However, with the draught of live sports induced by the Coronavirus pandemic, bringing back The Ultimate Fighter is a commercially viable option for Dana White.

Any of these pairings can be a treat to watch for the fans.
