Following Jon Jones’ arrest, the officers making the arrest found a half-empty bottle of Recuerdo 750ml as reported by Bloody Elbow. The American Top Team fighter, Jorge Masvidal endorses El Recuerdo Mezcal.

Jon Jones was take in on multiple charges. Including aggravated DWI, negligent use of firearms,  possession of an open container, and no proof of insurance in the vehicle.

The Miami-born brawler unveiled the brand ahead of UFC 246. Gamebred is looking to enter the business of alcohol just like Conor McGregor and Proper Twelve.

The 35-year-old fighter’s brand is already gaining a lot of recognition. In addition, this unfortunate incident may have brought in some free publicity for his brand.

What Does the Future Hold For Jorge Masvidal?

Other than following McGregor into the alcohol business, Gamebred is also interested in taking on the Irishman in the octagon. Considering how a fight with the UFC’s most bankable name would prove to be a huge pay-day for Masvidal.

McGregor has expressed interest in fighting for the BMF title following his win against Donald Cerrone. Masvidal currently holds the BMF title, he received it after winning against Nate Diaz at UFC 244.

The 35-year-old fighter is willing to overlook a chance at the title by fighting Kamaru Usman to fight McGregor.

“I know my management without a doubt would say, and I would also say the Conor fight. We’ll go get the money because the Conor fight is not always going to be there. [Usman] is always going to be there. Somebody is always going to have that belt.”- Jorge Masvidal

However, UFC President Dana White has other plans. According to White, McGregor v Khabib is the next super fight.

“If Conor and Masvidal fight, neither one of them even has a title, although Conor does want his ‘BMF’ title, but he doesn’t have a world championship,”- Dana White

Regardless, Jorge Masvidal’s name is right there in the mix for some of the greatest fights to come.
