Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov was down with pneumonia last month. However, he insisted he was fine and rejected coronavirus tests. This proved to be his undoing as his health worsened and the family moved him to a military hospital in Moscow. Here, he required heart surgery due to coronavirus complications.

However, despite an improvement in his health, a close family friend revealed that he was unable to speak and remained critical.

Abdulmanap is one of the most prominent MMA and wrestling coaches on the globe. He is responsible for his son’s wrestling based fight style, which has proved too tough for all comers to deal with.
