Paulo Costa is desperate to get his hands on Israel Adesanya and fight him for the Middleweight Championship. The Brazilian earned his title shot with a 13th consecutive professional victory at UFC 241. However, an injury kept him out, with Yoel Romero replacing him in the title fight at UFC 248. Now, ‘Borrachinha’ is resorting to every trick possible to get his fight at the earliest.

As per an ESPN MMA tweet, the 2nd ranked Middleweight fighter poked at ‘The Last Stylebender’s stature. He said, “Nobody knows where this skinny boy is hiding. Show up skinny boy, let’s fight.” At this point, ‘Borrachinha’ raised his fist into focus and declared, “I’m ready to put these hands on your face, motherf***er.”

Following this, Costa tweeted an image of ‘The Last Stylebender’ grimacing as he lifts a dumbbell. The relentless barrage continued, with ‘Borrachinha’ sharing a video of Israel Adesanya from the UFC on Fox: Poirier vs Gaethje faceoff against Marvin Vettori. He wrote, “Awesome super powerful. This motherf***er is a shame for the whole middleweight division LOL.”

At the event, ‘The Last Stylebender’ struggled to rip off his shirt and ended up pulling it off over his head. The crowd present at the venue too were quite amused at his plight.

Furthermore, he shared the video of longtime UFC commentator Joe Rogan revealing that the feuding Middleweight duo will serve as coaches for the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter. Here he claimed that it is a final chance for ‘The Last Stylebender’ to make a good payday. “After the Skinny last boring fight, I’m his last chance to make some money before lose the belt. Thank me.”

‘Borrachinha’ has signed the contract and at last week’s pre-fight interaction Dana White let the media know that the Adesanya fight is in the UFC’s plans. It’s only a matter of when and where.
