Francis Ngannou is on one of the hottest stretches of his career right now. However, despite his more than impressive performances, the UFC has still not guaranteed him a shot at the title. The Cameroonian took out his frustration on the two fighters who, he believes, are holding up the division.

Daniel Cormier will fight Stipe Miocic for the UFC Heavyweight belt next. The fight should have had an official date by now. However, it has been getting delayed due to multiple reasons. Meanwhile, Miocic and Cormier have been trading occasional jabs on Twitter. Francis Ngannou is not okay with both of them fighting on Twitter and not in the Octagon. He lashed out at both Stipe and DC for being keyboard warriors.

He also referred to himself as the uncrowded champ.

UFC President Dana White, following UFC 249, labeled Miocic vs Cormier as a priority. However, the reasons for the postponement of the fight are not in the UFC’s control. Miocic had to undergo surgery to repair a torn retina from his last fight against Cormier. The ongoing pandemic has also played a spoiler for the first respondent Miocic.

Miocic’s gym, Strong Style, has shut its door due to COVID-19. Hence, the heavyweight champ is not able to train properly as well.

Francis Ngannou has secured four consecutive first-round knockouts

Francis Ngannou has forced everyone to take notice because of his performance. The total time of his last four fights is still eighteen seconds shy of the three-minute mark. It hasn’t been the case that he had been tearing through easy competition. He has knocked out two former Heavyweight champs. In his win-streak, he has also handed the undefeated Jairzinho Rozenstruik the first loss of his career.

This is not the first time that Ngannou has been the hot potato of the UFC Heavyweight division. During his initial six fights in the UFC, he was on a similarly terrorizing streak. His hype train came to a screeching halt when he met the champ Stipe Miocic in January 2018. For five rounds, Miocic showed Nagnnou that there is much more to the fight game than packing a powerful punch.
