While the entire sports community was forced to a halt, White & his team successfully hosted live events. Albeit all the leading sports leagues finding their way back to normalcy, UFC has stood out amongst all, having hosted consistent events and earning a heavy revenue.

The promotion has also chalked up some intense headliners for their upcoming events, leaving the entire fanbase stupefied.

Dana White names his four favorite upcoming fights

Aaron Bronsteter asked White to pick a single fight from the upcoming ones. The UFC frontman’s inability to do so hardly comes as a shock to anyone.

“Out of all the fights that we have scheduled, what one do I want to watch?  I only get to pick one? That’s not fair!

“I can’t wait to see the trilogy with Miocic but also I want to see Ortega vs the Zombie. I also want to see Khabib and Gaethje, and I also want to see Adesanya vs Paulo Costa. So there’s your answer,” said White.

Although some fights are yet to be dated, there’s no doubt about them being official.

Daniel Cormier vs Stipe Miocic 3

The headliner of UFC 252 has been staged with the epic conclusion to the DC-Miocic rivalry, with a Heavyweight title on the line. While DC and Miocic each have one win over the other, the final edition of their trilogy chronicle will be the tie-breaker.

UFC is already touting the fight to be the Great Heavyweight settlement in the promotion. The bout has a lot more than just the Heavyweight strap hanging in the balance.

It is also reported to be Cormier’s last fight with the promotion. However, Cormier’s triumph over his long-time rival may force his hand into defending the title, thereby squashing his hopes of riding into the sunset.

Brian Ortega vs Chan Sung Jung

The bad blood between two promising featherweights has also fueled an epic in-octagon matchup. Both the men are in their prime, with a lot of heat outside the octagon.

And if history is any indicator, tension outside the octagon is the prerequisite to a tantalizing match-up. They also got into a reported physical altercation publicly, a few months ago.

Thus, Ortega vs The Korean Zombie is not only an important fight for the division, it is equally thrilling to witness for the sheer action it promises to offer.

However, the matchup is yet to have an official date and venue.

Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Justin Gaethje

As per reports, Khabib Nurmagomedov and Justin Gaethje will lock horns in the main event of UFC 254 to unify the UFC lightweight titles.

The undefeated Khabib is expected to be on the edge of his retirement, citing the upcoming fight to be his second last.

However, a shocking loss against Gaethje can change patterns. Meanwhile, Gaethje, riding a three-fight win streak, has appeared sensational in recent memory. His performance against Tony Ferguson at UFC 249 earned him the interim title.

Only a fool would think that the Dagestani phenom can make short work of The Highlight. That said, even Dana White is excited to witness the contention for the UFC Lightweight Title race to come to a befitting end, for now.

Israel Adesanya vs Paulo Costa

The mega-fight between ‘The Last Stylebender’ and ‘The Eraser’ will bring the undefeated run of one middleweight virtuoso to a painful close.

Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya has already defended his belt successfully against Yoel Romero. While we thought of the 31-year-old’s fighting to be flawless, the Cuban powerhouse can be credited for revealing Adesanya’s Achilles heel.

That said, Paulo Costa is expected to be his hardest call to date. The Brazilian is a deadly striker who has been unbeaten throughout his professional MMA career.

It will undoubtedly be one of the grandest middleweight bouts of all time in the history of the promotion.
