Sean O’Malley has captured the imagination of the MMA community. His rise is coming at the same time when the divisional champ Henry Cejudo has just retired. O’Malley has revealed his theory behind Cejudo’s retirement. However, “Triple C” fired back at O’Malley for his comments.

Sean O’Malley is coming off a knockout win over veteran Eddie Wineland at UFC 250. He achieved the win with a walk-off KO. In the post-fight press conference, O’Malley commented on Cejudo’s out of the blue retirement. He didn’t blame his retirement on all those long years of competition. Instead, he labeled it as an outcome of Cejudo getting his first girlfriend.

“I think he’ll be back,” O’Malley said. “I think he just found his first girlfriend and he’s just kind of, he doesn’t know what to do. Because if you’ve never had a girlfriend before and then you have one and you’re like 30-something, I don’t know, they like, take over.”

Sean also added that he was a tough competition for anyone inside the Octagon. Given the weight class, he usually has a significant size advantage over his competitors. If the 5’11” O’Malley was ever to face the 5’4″, the size difference would have been glaringly obvious. However, Cejudo doesn’t care. He took a jibe at O’Malley for his comments by outlining his achievements in a tweet.

Who is Amanda Dallago Cheves, the girlfriend of Henry Cejudo

Henry Cejudo, arguably, has one of the best resumes of any combat athlete. Despite that, he has always kept his private life away from the spotlight. A look on his Instagram would reveal that he has a Brazilian girlfriend. Cejudo has been posting pictures of the couple since the beginning of this year. His girlfriend, on the other hand, started doing so from the latter part of last year.

However, this is not the first relationship that Cejudo has been in. He had two of them in his 20s. However, he wasn’t sure if he could live with either of them for the next fifteen years. Being a traditionalist, Cejudo is a firm believer in marriage for the long-term. With Amanda, it seems that “Triple C” has achieved success and happiness in his personal life as well.
