UFC Bantamweight Aljamain Sterling took to Twitter and responded to comments made by a fan surrounding his future in the division. ‘The Funk Master’ is currently ranked number two in the weight class and is on the verge of a title shot. MMA fans and media believe that Sterling fighting for the 135-pound belt is a forgone conclusion.
However, UFC President Dana White has not committed to the idea of Aljamain Sterling being the next guy in line. Not to mention he has avoided confirming said sentiment in multiple press-conferences. The Twitter user pointed out that Sterling should approach his coach Matt Serra to put in a good word with the boss.
My coaches relationship with my boss has ZERO to do with me. And I personally would never be that entitled to ask any friend to put their friendship on the line for my gain. That’s some corny, leeching ass shit. I’ll get it out the mud myself like I always have https://t.co/A4ddVAsjhc
